BANG is a get together of Business Continuity management people who are entertained during the evening by a "controversial" guest speaker, in a social atmosphere. Sponsored and hosted by Barclay Simpson, it is FREE and held on the last Wednesday of each month, in Central London.

This month's guest speaker is management consultant Denize LeDeatte of Underground Ceiling and her subject will be "Is your finger on the button? Then how is your mindset?" 

Plans, risk assessments and strategy are cornerstones in business continuity and, resources are rightly allocated to develop effective ways of protecting businesses from threats. While industry standard courses exist to help to develop the necessary skills, the mindset and wellbeing of those in charge are important and expansive thinking is essential for those with “a finger on the button.”  Flexible thinking, calmness under pressure , correcting your course as you go along , using both the left and right side of your brain, will help you to perform at your best. Come for an interactive evening with activity and food for thought!

Denize LeDeatte has a track record in regeneration in London stretching three decades and has been a board member of  over 15 volunteer organisations here.  With a background in local government, the not for profit sector and the private sector, she has developed a specialism in conflict management, and leadership development working with organisations such as the NHS, Oxfam and the UN in Kosovo.  She has a background in HR and is also a respected artist and leader of creative thinking art based workshops.
